01.02.2020 • PATH Winter Intensive at the Museum of Graffiti | Wynwood
During the PATH 2019/2020 Winter Intensive, students got a personalized tour of the Museum of Graffiti; the world’s first museum dedicated to the evolution of graffiti. Co-founder Alan Ket and curator Carlos “MARE139” Rodriguez led the tour, which featured works by StayHigh149, Ghost and Giz, Martha Cooper, Henry Chalfont, Niels Shoemeulman, OG Slick and more. Students were engaged through discussions on the history, styles, and future of graffiti culture.
PATH is a Miami-based 501 (3)c nonprofit organization dedicated to challenging the negative stereotypes and destructive behaviors often associated with Hip Hop culture by helping the youth build skills that are useful in school, the streets and the future.
