I was able to work in a series of impromptu staff and student portraits during PATH’s Winter Intensive. I shot them akimbo style with a Canon 80D in one hand and a handheld Godox AD20/26-inch octobox in the other.

These Are The Breaks is PATH’s immersive week-long visual, performing and digital arts learning experience for Miami’s talented young creatives. This year’s theme was Food + Water + Shelter, which allowed participants to creatively identify the opportunities and challenges present in their communities via a series of lectures, workshops and field trips throughout Miami. 

PATH is a Miami-based 501 (3)c nonprofit organization dedicated to challenging the negative stereotypes and destructive behaviors often associated with Hip Hop culture by helping the youth build skills that are useful in school, the streets and the future.
